What an ending. And the lighthouse part??? Awesome. Six characters gone in one scene. Epic. MITSUKO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ALL THE FEELS!!! As my brother would say. I’d tell you to go follow him, but I’m not sure of his URL. Anyway. My favourite characters were Mitsuko (What a messed-up girl) and Shinji. Shinji was so cool, I wanted him to win. He was really smart to figure out about (SPOILER) the collars having microphones in them. It was obvious the Shuya was going to win though. (Well, be ONE of the winners) I wished it wasn’t so obvious… And Noriko was boring, but I have to give her credit for killing Kazuo. WAIT. KAZUO? Brilliant character. Really interesting background. No emotions…. And there was that guy who played the violin, I can’t remember what he was called, but he deserved his death. Morbid, I know, but he was so ready to kill his classmates. He considered them ‘vulgar’. Yeah, I didn’t like him at all. OH and also Battle Royale was a lot less fair than the Hunger Games. The tributes in the Hunger Games were at least trained. I mean Shuya and co. were just given a day pack and told to go…. But anyway. To summarise, a great book. Some of the Japanese names are hard to remember, nut you get used to it eventually. I’d give it 9 and a half stars out of 10. Don’t ask me who I’d recommend it to, cause I didn’t think I was going to like this. My favourite books are the Harry Potter ones, so they’re completely unrelated. Oh and if you read all this, thank you SO MUCH for wasting your time. :)

The Hunger Games were slightly more fair. I mean, in Battle Royale, you’re expected to kill of all of your friends, people who you have shared a lot of memories with! I mean, take Yoshitoki Kuninobu. He was one of Shuya’s closest friends, and for protesting against the Program, he was gunned down. Katniss had it fairly easy, she didn’t even know Peeta properly, the first time she’s in the Hunger Games. And while you might argue that at least the Program isn’t on TV, I could argue that the students in Battle Royale were not given as good weapons/provisions as the tributes in the Games were. And also I don’t like Katniss. But that’s for a different post. And so I go back to reading Battle Royale…

I may sound rather gruesome when i say this, but Kazushi’s death is fantastic! Takato is amazing…..but her death is pathetic. Kazushi and Takato’s battle!!

Been since…..January? I haven’t been on holiday or anything, just life keeping me busy. I can see already there are about 1,0000000000000000000000000 and 1 posts on the new Hunger Games movie…. mmm yeah NO spoilers please, going to see the movie soon! Have lately become SUCH a fan of The Wanted, expect to see a lot of posts about them…. So that’s it really…….and sorry I’ve been gone so long :) Feel free to follow, I won’t bite, and I won’t spam!
